In USA, the customer are allowed to return (or) exchange their purchased items with in a specified period of time.

If you buy things in WAL-MART , you can return / exchange things within 90 days from the date of your purchase.

If you return anything, you should give them all the associated spare parts with that product.
Ensure that you have purchased bill, bar code sticker on the product.

In FRYS , you are allowed to return with in 30days from the purchased date.
You will be returned all of your money back, including the tax you paid for that purchase.

In all the shops, there is one common rule. If you buy a laptops from a shop. You will be allowed to return that laptop with in 15 days.If you have not opened the packing, then you will be getting your full money back.In case, if you have opened the packing and you want to return, then they will give you full money back only for hard ware issues. If you tell them, that you are returning due to software related issues, then will give money 15% less.

So before buying a laptop, think twice.
